Ten arsons in the Cotswolds in a month

Over the past month there have been a series of more than 10 arsons across the Cotswolds.

Police say that bins, sheds, barns and hay stores, to name a few, have been purposefully set alight, causing extensive damage.

A police statement said: "Officers are chasing a number of leads from witnesses as this person or persons need to be stopped before someone gets seriously injured or killed.

"The offender or offenders are most likely using vehicles so if anyone has seen any vehicle acting suspiciously around any area with fires then please contact us."

If anyone knows anything about arsons in the Cotswolds, then please call 101 or anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
