Takeover for Gloucestershire loo business

A Gloucestershire provider of portable toilets has been taken over by a bigger bog business.

Thistle Loos, a portable toilet and welfare unit hire business based in Hinckley in Leicestershire, has taken over Gloucestershire-based Toilets 4 Hire.

As part of the acquisition, Toilets 4 Hire will be fully integrated into the Thistle Loos brand. It means Thistle Loos will now serve Gloucester, Cheltenham, North Bristol, Worcester and the surrounding areas with its full range of services.

Sandra Ralston, director of Thistle Loos, said: "This acquisition is an exciting step forward for Thistle Loos. Expanding into Gloucestershire allows us to offer our professional, reliable service to a wider customer base, and bring a broader range of units and quicker service to the area."

Customers previously served by Toilets 4 Hire will now benefit from access to a wider range of units for their number ones and twos, including welfare units and accessible lavs, as well as luxury toilet trailers from Thistle Loos' events division.
