Super-fast home delivery is back at Sainsbury’s

Sainsbury's is bringing back its 'super-fast home delivery' service, which was paused during the pandemic.
The service offers same day deliveries from over 250 UK stores, as reported by Charged Retail.
But it's not yet clear whether it will be available in Gloucestershire. While the website says 'Get it today in selected postcodes', a quick check showed that Sainsbury's in Cheltenham is still only offering currently next day delivery and click & collect services.
The UK's second largest supermarket originally launched same-day deliveries in 2016, but the huge growth in online shopping during the pandemic meant it had to suspend it.
The retailer said, now that customers are returning to more normal shopping habits, it aims to bring it back to give shoppers greater flexibility and convenience.
Shoppers who order before midday will be able to choose a same day delivery slot after 5pm or collection after 4pm.
The improved service will be available across 250 stores immediately and a further 100 stores by the end of October.
Sainsbury's is also expanding its Chop Chop one-hour delivery service to a further 25 stores, bringing the total to 75 stores in 25 cities nationwide.
