Successful networking evening for local charity

A charity which offers supports to parents with young children at times of crisis hosted a successful networking evening last week.

Home-Start Cotswolds held the event for business representatives and supporters at Cirencester's award-winning restaurant and deli, Made by Bob.

Around 50 guests, including several local councillors, attended the event to hear about the charity's work supporting families with young children across the Cotswolds.

Christine Hall (pictured right), chair of Home-Start Cotswolds, said: "As a voluntary organisation which offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children during times of crisis, we rely on the support of local businesses, as well as our amazing volunteers. This event was a fantastic opportunity to remind people about what we do and we were delighted with the response from local businesses and individuals who attended."

Last year Home-Start Cotswold volunteers gave over 1712 hours of support to 51 families with 111 children.
