A new drive-thru and three other units on a Gloucestershire business park have been given the go ahead by Gloucester City Council planners.
Planning permission has been approved for the development at a newly established retail park to the east of Gloucester city centre.
The proposed scheme includes a 140 sq metre drive-thru unit to be occupied by Subway, as well as outdoor seating area under a raft pergola.
Approved plans also include the erection of three commercial units; along with associated car parking, servicing and landscaping.
The 0.2-hectare development will sit opposite the existing Costa Coffee drive-thru, and across the road from the Rygor Mercedes-Benz dealership and Lok'nStore self storage at Triangle Park, Metz Way.
The new-build units will have direct vehicular and pedestrian access to Metz Way, which connects users to Gloucester City Centre and to the south it provides access to the A38 Eastern Avenue and nearby residential areas.

Now that permission has been granted, the site is expected to create a further 30 jobs for the local area (20 full-time and 10 part-time).
