Student fashion clothing chain heading to Gloucester Quays?

It looks like Jack Wills, the fashion clothing chain which is so popular with university students, is set to become the next big retail name to arrive at Gloucester Quays.

Although there has been no official announcement, Jack Wills has already placed recruitment advertisements for the position of assistant store manager at Gloucester Quays.

Which can only mean Jack Wills is following in the steps of Ted Baker which was the most recent arrival at the Quays discount shopping centre.

According to Drapers, the fashion business website, Jack Wills has been revitalised following the return of founder Peter Williams after a three year break.

Jack Wills reported an operating profit of £730,000 for the year to 29 January, compared with a £13.8m loss the year.

It was reported that the group opened 10 new stores during the year, relocated two, refitted three and closed five shops, bringing the total of wholly owned stores to 86.
