Local conservation and community charity Stroud Valleys Project (SVP) has once again been selected for the Big Give Green Match Fund.

The eco-focused crowdfunder selects the very best environmental project across the world.

SVP's CEO Clare Mahdiyone explained: "We're aiming to raise £2,500 to give Stroud a biodiversity boost, so we'll be working with community members to create and improve green spaces across the Stroud district to improve them, for local people and for our planet.

"We know that times are tough, so donating during our Green Match Fund appeal is brilliant because every pound you give will be doubled by the Big Give's Champions - we stand to raise £5,000 in total, which would mean we can step up our work to keep Stroud's people and nature thriving together.

What's more, the charity has a very exciting prize for generous rock fans who donate £10 or more.
