Stroud-based porridge makers are flying high

Stroud-based food company Kitchen Garden Foods has secured an exciting new listing with easyJet for their Wolfy's porridge brand.

easyJet have listed the Wolfy's protein boosted porridge pots on all flights.

James Horwood, director and joint-owner of KG Foods, said: "This is a really, really, exciting deal for our Wolfy's brand - the fact easyJet are now taking our products is a real testament to the quality of the product - it's fantastic for our small, Stroud-based company."

easyJet have listed the Wolfy's protein boosted porridge pots on all flights - with an initial "flight test" currently taking place. easyJet will be the second major airline listing for Wolfy's in the last 24 months with British Airways also listing the brand in summer 2021.

James added: "We launched Wolfy's pretty much 10 years ago to the day and since then the brand has seen remarkable growth with listing across GWR trains, Waitrose, Ocado, Coop, hundreds of indie outlets, British Airways and now, easyJet.

"The pots are currently doing a 'test flight' and passengers will be able to enjoy them onboard all easyJet flights really soon. It's a great opportunity for easyJet too - offering something filling, delicious and quite unique - I've no doubt it'll be really successful for them."

According to their trading statement, easyJet flew over 33 million passengers between October '22 and March' 23 and Wolfy's protein boosted porridge will be available on all easyJet flights from November onwards.

Wolfy's is one of the brands owned and operated by Kitchen Garden Foods, now owned by James Horwood, and James Moinet..

Founded in 1989, Kitchen Garden now employs around 15 staff at their site in Salmon Springs, Stroud, and have received over 100 awards and has products in over a thousand outlets across the UK and overseas. All of their products are made by hand, in small batches, using only natural ingredients.
