Spend an evening with a boxing legend for charity

There's a chance to spend an evening in the company of boxing legend Frank Bruno this autumn and raise money for a much-loved Gloucestershire charity.

GL1 Promotions In conjunction with The Pied Piper Appeal presents A Night with Frank Bruno on Friday, November 4, at The Jurys Inn, Golden Valley, Cheltenham. on Friday, November 4.

Frank Bruno is a legend in the Boxing Hall of Fame, becoming WBC Heavyweight Champion after defeating Oliver McCall in 1995.

The whole of the UK hailed Frank and a tour through London with the winning belt on an open-top bus drew hundreds of thousands of fans to cheer and wave.

Frank is a fantastic after-dinner speaker and will delight audiences with his humorous stories both about his professional and personal past. A must for any boxing fans.

Nick Broady, chair of The Pied Piper Appeal and MD of Avenue Cars, said: "This is going to be an amazing night and it's fantastic to have one of the UK's sporting legends here in the county helping support the Pied Piper.

"I'd like to thank Kevin Pope, all the sponsors and anyone who is buying a ticket for their support in helping the sick children of Gloucestershire."

With a three-course dinner included, ticket prices start at £120 each with a table for 10 costing £1,000.

A VIP package of £1,500 per table includes 10 meet and greet tickets with one hour of Frank's time, plus pictures with Frank.

Event organiser Kevin Pope said: "GL1 Promotions has been set up to bring the business community together with some interesting sporting legends and aims to host two events per year inviting and aiding local charities to raise money.

"It is a great chance to network and enjoy the evening's entertainment. Some of the county's largest and most influential businesses are already booked onto the event."
