Spanish kitchen firm opens new Gloucester base

Spanish company Cosentino Group has opened a new centre in Gloucestershire.

The leading kitchen worktop manufacturer has moved into a 4,000sqm unit at Indurent Park in Stonehouse.
Cosentino, which sells surfaces for architects and designers, was previously located at a centre in Nexus Court on Gloucester Business Park which it opened in 2009.
The new flagship warehouse and showroom sits off M5 J12 neighboured by business suchc as Adey Innovation, ProCook's headquarters and The Great British Card Company. It is also close to Javelin Park where the 1.1million sq ft business development Symmetry Park is to be built.

Global business Cosentino has 126 centres and 6,000 employees and reported turnover of $1.7billion (£1.3b) last year. In April it reported investment of more than $121million in expansion, product innovation and the creation of 188 jobs.
The company said its new "innovative facility" in Gloucestershire had been designed to give inspiration to customers in the architecture, design and stone industry.
It includes an Atelier lab, bathroom display area including wash basins and shower trays, facades, cladding, flooring and an area to view the full range of Silestone, Dekton and Sensa slabs.
Matthew Slark, general manager at Cosentino Gloucester, said: "We are excited to announce that our new premises will enable us to expand our stock capacity, providing improved service to both retail and commercial clients," Sosention wrote in a LinkedIn post.
"In addition, we are thrilled to offer a beautiful showroom and presentation area, where we will host training sessions, events, and seminars.
"This space embodies the modern Cosentino Centre, designed to meet market demand for years to come."
