Footfall brings new store to Gloucester centre

Sole Tempted, a new sneaker store has opened on Worcester Street, having relocated from Bristol Road, to boost retail footfall and bring the latest high-end trainer fashion to the centre of Gloucester.

Business owners Clive Esson and Natasha Thomas started the company in lockdown from home. In 2022 they had a presence on Bristol Road and a year later have now invested £80,000 to open a new store on Worcester Street.

Clive Esson, managing director, said: "We are a family-run business and stocking the popular fashion trainers. Influencers such as KSI and other rap artists create a huge demand for these brands. One of our most popular products is the Air Jordan 4 range. These trainers retail between £130 and £400."

"We have only been open 3 weeks, but interest so far is fantastic. The high-end fashion sneaker market doesn't seem to be affected by the cost-of-living crisis."
