Shotgun and drugs seized in Gloucester

Four men have been arrested and a quantity of suspected class A drugs seized after police responded to reports of a fight in Gloucester.

Close to 4.10pm on Tuesday (May 8) police were alerted to a group of men fighting in the Green Way area of Brockworth where a man had suffered an arm injury.

Officers attended but the suspects had left the scene in a vehicle. The vehicle was located a short time later and four men from Gloucester were arrested on suspicion of affray.

Further investigation resulted in officers locating a small quantity of what is believed to be class A drugs and a shotgun was also seized from an address in the area.

The men, one aged 17 and three aged 19, who were arrested on suspicion of affray were further arrested for firearms offences and supplying class A drugs. They remain in custody at this time.

The man who suffered an arm injury has since been discharged from hospital.
