Shopping centre undergoes rebrand

There is an exciting new look for one of the county's leading shopping centres.

King's Walk Shopping Centre in Gloucester is being rebranded as part of the development plans to transform the centre into a new unique contemporary retail destination.

As well as the significant improvement works which will take place in 2019, the centre has now been rebranded as "King's Walk, Gloucester" to help create a unified and consistent brand.

The team at King's Walk are working alongside their marketing partners to introduce the new brand to its customers; this includes an online presence, social media, local media publications and advertising at Kingsholm.

The rebranding process will include a new website design, new logo and new colours which will eventually be present on all marketing material. The new identity will support the development of a modern and high-quality destination that contributes to the character and architectural identity of King's Walk.

The new concept has been designed for Reef Group, the landlords of King's Walk in partnership with Gloucester City Council.

Peter White, centre manager for King's Walk said: "Rebranding the centre will help to build awareness, associations and ultimately customer loyalty. The development seeks to create a high-quality retail environment and will form a catalyst for wider regeneration and opportunity. The rebranding is the first stage of this process prior to the works commencing".

King's Walk, Gloucester has over 175,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space with an annual footfall of nearly nine million.

There is currently interest from several new retailers and discussions continue with various stakeholders to ensure that King's Walk will further strengthen its position as the heart of city centre shopping in Gloucester.
