Shirtmaker to be saved from administration

Menswear retailer, T M Lewin, is set to be saved by its main lender.

An investment vehicle owned by PETRA Group has agreed with TM Lewin's administrators, Interpath Advisory, to buy the brand, as reported by Retail Gazette.

The shirtmaker closed all 66 of its stores, including its store on Cheltenham Promenade, as part of the insolvency, with the loss of hundreds of jobs.

PETRA is said to be interested in bringing the brand back to the high street, but it is not clear how many of the stores will reopen.
