Severn Trent said it remains on track to reach its forecast performance for the full year.

In a trading update for the past four months the water company, which covers much of Gloucestershire, said it "remains confident of delivering our full-year results in line with expectations.
The update also said it remained "on or ahead" of its target for almost 80 per cent of customer performance measures with 25 per cent fewer blockages and 15 per cent reduction in pollutions throughout 2020.
The company said it was in dialogue with regular Ofwat and DEFRA on potential investment opportunities as part of the Government's Green Recovery initiative after submitting a number of proposals.
And the update revealed the company has welcomed the first of 500 new trainees as part of the Kickstart Scheme.
Severn Trent's full year results are due to take place on May 26.
