Settebello Cheltenham launches its new menu

Spring was in the air and on the tastebuds when VIP guests attended an exclusive event at Settebello Cheltenham to launch its new seasonal menu.

Business owners, food lovers and celebrities were invited to the family-owned Italian restaurant in Belgrave House to sample new dishes.

Created in-house in partnership with the Italian chef team and the family owners, the fresh selection of starters, appetisers, meat, fish and pasta dishes aims to enhance the seasonality and qualities of local produce.

Guests at the event earlier this month were served up a selection of canapes from the new menu which includes wild mushroom and truffle arancini, salt and pepper deep fried calamari with sriracha mayonnaise and beloved Italian classic tiramisu.

Traditional cocktails, and hand-picked Italian wines were also served to guests, alongside a specially created spring cocktail using Limoncello.

Deep fried lasagna with a delicate truffle mayonnaise was the culinary star of the night and will be added to the Sotto dining menu, as a permanent dish.

Settebello Belgrave House opened its doors towards the end of last year following decades of success at its sister restaurant Trattoria Settebello in Gloucester Docks.

Whilst the Gloucester restaurant focuses on dishes from the Napoli region of Italy and has an authentic pizza, the Cheltenham restaurant offers Roman style dishes, with more of a focus on fine dining and speciality cuisine.

The three-floor restaurant includes the main restaurant, the relaxed Sotto bar area, a modern conservatory and Imperiale private dining room for up to 20 people.

The new menu is available now in the main restaurant and encapsulates traditional family dishes from Italy using a blend of seasonal local and specialty Italian ingredients.
