VIDEO: Evans Jones business event scales new heights thanks to professional mountaineer

It was a business launch that reached for the summits - with the guest speaker being none other than a professional adventure and mountaineer.

Cheltenham-based property and planning experts Evans Jones partnered with Schmidt Kitchens to stage the event, inviting along climber Kenton Cool  to say a few words and add even more inspiration to the evening.

Mr Cool talked about his experiences, not least climbing Everest 13 times to date, and his challenges on other peaks world-wide.

Between times, Evans Jones' invited guests that included clients and business people from across the county and dignitaries, including Cheltenham MP Alex Chalk were free to browse the examples of Schmidt's made to measure kitchens and enjoy a glass of champagne.

Local suppliers that help make the Winchcombe Street business's offer a success were also present, as were chefs and food and drinks suppliers who tantalised with the food prepared in-house using the aforementioned kitchens.

These included Ben Axford, Masterchef finalist, Tonbo Japanese Kitchen, which offered a sushi tasters, The Cocktail Service, chocolatiers Costello & Hellerstein and Bath Road Beers.
