Sales soar at H&M

H&M has continued its post-pandemic recovery, with sales up 12 per cent in its second quarter.

The retailer, which has stores in Gloucester and Cheltenham, also owns a number of other brands, including Monki, as reported by Retail Gazette.

Net sales at the fashion business were up 17 per cent to £4.47bn for the 13 weeks to May 31, surpassing market expectations.

It seems that fashion is making a recovery across the board, with the brand's main rival, Zara owner Inditex, also reporting a sharp rise in footfall and an increase in sales and profit.
