Sales increase for White Stuff

Fashion retailer, White Stuff, saw a rise in sales in the last financial year.

The retailer, which has stores in Gloucester, Cheltenham and Cirencester, saw total sales rise by 2.4% to £155m for the year to April 27 - up from £151.4m the previous year, as reported by Retail Gazette.

White Stuff saw a 6.8% rise in full-price sales, driven by a reduction in promotions and a focus on popular product lines, which made up 50% of its full-price sales.

Operating profit for the year was up to £5.1m, from £4.4m in 2022.

During the year, the retailer opened three new stores, including a Liverpool flagship. It is also stocked in 20 Marks & Spencer stores, which made a big contribution to a 19% rise in third-party sales.
