Robbery at city's Co-op store

Gloucestershire police are appealing for information following a knife point  robbery at a Co-op store in High Street, Tredworth, Gloucester.

On Sunday 10 September just before 10pm an offender went into the shop and threatened staff with a knife. He forced the manager to hand over cash from the tills before making him open the safe in the rear office and stealing packets of cigarettes.

When the offender left the premises staff activated the personal attack alarm.

The offender, a white male of around six feet tall, was wearing black trousers, a light grey hoody, grey shoes, black gloves with a black scarf wrapped over his face.
