Rise in sales for bathroom retailer

Victorian Plumbing has posted an increase in half year sales and profit.

Sales for the online retailer of bathroom products for the six months to March 31 were up 10% to £146.8m, as reported by Retail Gazette.

Adjusted EBIDTA was up 48% to £9.9m, with total orders increasing by 6% on the previous year, as the company made market share gains.

Victorian Plumbing has recently signed a 20-year lease for a 544,000 sq ft purpose-built UK distribution centre in Lancashire, which is set to open later this year, and will enable it to continue to grow the business.
