Record year for Joe Browns

Fashion and lifestyle retailer, Joe Browns, has had its strongest year to date.

In the 12 months to June 30, sales were up by 20.9% to £47.3 million and profits increased by 7.8% to £4.2 million, as reported by Retail Gazette.

Menswear proved particularly popular, with sales increasing by 34.7%, while womenswear sales were up by 18.4%.

Homeware sales were up 43.6%, after the retailer introduced more garden products to its range.

Joe Browns currently has just three UK stores, but is looking to open 10 more.

The brand is also planning to open its first franchise store and will complete £2 million warehouse improvements this summer.
