Raging Bull fashions partnership with Gloucester Rugby

Former Gloucester captain Phil Vickery has sealed a new deal with the rugby club - to provide the official off-field clothing.

Raging Bull, the lifestyle clothing brand founded by the World Cup winner, has agreed the partnership with the club where the former prop made his name.

He told the Gloucester Rugby website: ""I arrived as a wide-eyed and overawed 19-year-old at Gloucester Rugby back in 1995 but soon went on to build some of the best memories of my life.

"To be back now with my own clothing brand dressing the players seems to be a perfect circle.

"I am incredibly proud of my brand and of having played 145 times for this special club, so seeing Raging Bull being worn at Kingsholm is a real honour for me."

Gloucester's players and management will don the official off-field attire - a navy tweed jacket, white button-down collar shirt and zip neck blue sweater with stone coloured chinos - during the 2020-21 season which is due to kick off at Leicester on Saturday.

The club's chief executive Lance Bradley said: "Raging Bull is a Gloucester company and we love to work with local businesses.

"And with Phil having spent so many years in Cherry and White, we cannot think of a better brand to work with."

Mr Vickery, a former winner of Celebrity Masterchef, opened the No.3 restaurant in Cheltenham in July after opening with a collection service during the initial lockdown period.
