Quantity surveyor expands into new offices

An ambitious firm of quantity surveyors has moved from Gloucester into new offices at Bond's Mill in Stonehouse.

Adams Fletcher & Partners has expanded into new offices at the Robert Hitchins Ltd-owned business park - with plans to grow further.

The practice, established in 1973 and with an office in Hereford, has taken up a three-year lease on a 497 square feet office suite at The Wheelhouse on the business estate near Stroud.

"We undertake work throughout England and Wales. Following our success in recent years, we have relocated to Bond's Mill to accommodate our ambitions to expand," said director of Adams Fletcher & Partners, David Ridout.

"We are not restricted geographically and Bond's Mill offers good accessibility to our clients who represent all sectors of the construction industry, including healthcare and education, housing and leisure.

"Our office on the ground floor of the estate's main mill building has a nice atmosphere with plenty of natural light and it gives us room to expand. The on-site café - which is great for informal meetings - is just adjacent to us. We're looking forward to developing our business at Bond's Mill."

Helen Hawke, asset and administration manager for Robert Hitchins Ltd, said: "Being so close to Junction 13 of the M5 means that Bond's Mill offers a good alternative to city business parks. We have a great variety of office sizes with good parking, all within a pleasant working environment in a canalside location."

The agent was John Hawkins, of Hawkins Watton Stroud.

Bond's Mill, on the A419 near Stroud, is also home to the likes of UK Power Solutions, Green Gourmet, Omega Resource, Biocensus and BPE Solicitors.

Robert Hitchins, is headquartered at Boddington, north of Gloucester, and is one of the leading property developers and investors in the South West and South Wales.
