Punchline quizzes Richard Graham MP

In the wake of the high drama surrounding Liz Truss's resignation, Gloucester MP Richard Graham has been quizzed by Punchline editor Mark Owen about the big political and local issues of the day.

In this exclusive interview, Mr Graham is asked who he thinks is the best person for the job of the next Prime Minister.

He's also asked how worried he is about nuclear war with Russia and reveals why he thinks Putin is a 'wounded buffalo'.

Closer to home, Mark asks Mr Graham what can we do to help the less fortunate people in society, especially those facing no-fault evictions.

He is also quizzed about his thoughts on the controversial decision of Cheltenham and Stroud councils to turn down investment zones.

Mr Graham is asked about the government's plans to help the cost of living crisis and what the next steps should be for new Chancellor Jeremy Hunt. And what would he say to our business community?

With businesses struggling to recruit staff, especially in the hospitality sector, does Mr Graham think it's time that we relaxed our immigration policy a little to let more people in?

Finally, what does he make of Stagecoach's decision to cancel 300,000 bus journeys? Does he think it's a mistake by Gloucestershire County Council to hand over one contract to one company?
