Public back Cheltenham insurer to win award for fourth year in a row

Shurdington-based Endsleigh Insurance Services have picked up the Insurance Choice Award (ICA) for 'Best Student Insurer' for the fourth year running.

The announcement (which would have normally been at the annual awards ceremony) was made online on October 22.

The ICAs are prestigious awards within the insurance industry and are the only independent insurance awards where the winners are voted by the general public, rather than a panel of industry experts.

Having worked with students for over fifty years, Endsleigh claims to have strongly positioned themselves as front-runners in the student insurance market.

The firm said it not only designs its policies around student lifestyles, but also actively tailors its marketing activities to provide students with support, regularly joining forces with like-minded brands such as Totum and UCAS. They are also recommended by the National Union of Students (NUS).

Despite picking up the award once again, Endsleigh said that the novelty certainly hasn't worn off.

"This award is a mark of excellence and the fact we've won it four years in a row really reflects our expertise as student insurers," said chief commercial officer Jason Mann.

"Students are at the very heart of what we do as a business and the fact we've been recognised by our customers, particularly this year as students are facing so many challenges, is really, really important to us."
