Prepare for the future in a Sixth Form with a difference
By Matt Hall | 12th October 2018
The King's School Gloucester is opening its doors next Tuesday (October 16th) to give you a taste of life at its Sixth Form.
The open evening will allow parents and pupils to receive information and advice from across the academic departments at the School.
The evening will start with refreshments at 6pm followed by short presentations from the headmaster and head of Sixth Form, then an opportunity to visit up to five subject departments.
Wine, canapés and refreshments will be served in the school hall where there will also be a chance to speak to the headmaster, head of Sixth Form and other senior staff members.
The open evening will aim to offer a real insight into how the school equips its students with the values, attitudes, skills and knowledge that will bring success in future employment, study and life.
King's believes keeping Sixth Form relatively small is one of its key strengths, allowing staff to be more responsive to student needs and to better understand their goals and aspirations.
Each student is mentored and their progress and wellbeing are carefully monitored, with parents being involved throughout the process.
Find out more about how your son or daughter could benefit from the King's Sixth Form experience on Tuesday, October 16th, between 6pm and 9pm.
