Police launch appeal after fire outside Gloucester Cafe

Police in Gloucester are investigating and appealing for information after a fire was started outside TJs Cafe on Worcester Street last week.

It was reported that Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service had been called to the location during the early hours of Friday morning (April 16).

CCTV enquiries show an unknown man outside at around 3.10am who went on to set fire to cardboard before placing it outside the cafe. This caused damage to the door frame and lower half of the door.

He was described as being white, had a shaved head and was wearing a blue jacket with a white hoody, grey bottoms and black trainers.

Enquiries to identify and locate the offender are continuing and anyone who was in the area at the time or has CCTV footage is asked to please contact police.
