Police car rammed in Cheltenham

Gloucestershire Constabulary is appealing for dash cam footage after a vehicle rammed one of the Force's police cars during a pursuit.

The incident happened in Gloucester Road, Cheltenham, close to the roundabout at Princess Elizabeth Way, when the vehicle failed to stop. This happened at around 4.15pm on Sunday 29 November.

A green Ford Focus reversed into the marked car, taking off the door. Fortunately, the officer in the car was not seriously injured.

The offender drove off and the vehicle was later found abandoned.

Police would like anyone with dash cam footage or who witnessed the incident to contact them, quoting incident 264 of 29 November.

You can do this either through this website: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/us/a-crime-that-has-already-been-reported/  or by calling 101.
