Appeal for witnesses to fatal incident in Gloucester

Police are appealing for information about an incident in Gloucester in which an 89-year-old woman suffered serious injuries from which she later died.

The woman was involved in a collision with a mobility scooter near to Costa Coffee at the corner of Kings Square.

She was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with leg and pelvic injuries. Sadly, she died on 3 September.

The mobility scooter involved was being driven by a woman who was accompanied by a man riding another mobility scooter. The incident happened at about 11am on Saturday, June 30.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the circumstances leading up to it. If you can help call Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101, quoting incident 148 of July 11.
