Police appeal for witnesses to assault in Gloucester

Gloucestershire Constabulary is appealing for witnesses following reports of an assault in Gloucester on Sunday evening.

The incident happened in St James Park, Tredworth at around 9.45pm.

It is understood up to seven men may have been involved in the incident, with a number of them receiving injuries as a result. One person required medical attention and has since been discharged.

Officers would like to speak anybody with information about the altercation or who may have witnessed it.
