Police appeal for witnesses of serious collision in Gloucester

Officers are appealing for witnesses of a serious collision in Tuffley, Gloucester on Tuesday morning (November 2).

At 8.55am a collision between a car and a pedestrian took place on Tuffley Avenue shortly after the junction for Podsmead Road.

The pedestrian, a man aged in his 70s, has been taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with serious injuries.

The road remains closed in both directions while a collision investigation takes place.

Investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to police to make contact.

Additionally, officers would like to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident.
