Appeal for witnesses following stabbing

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked in Cheltenham.

Officers were called to Bramley Road in Cheltenham shortly before 3am on Saturday morning (January 12), after a man "sustained injuries which were consistent with a stabbing".

He was taken Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

An arrest has been made in connection with the incident and the police describe the investigation as 'continuing'.

Anyone with information should call 101 with incident number 35 of January 12.
