Appeal after assault leaves man with serious head injuries

Officers investigating a serious assault in Gloucester yesterday (Wednesday, January 23) are appealing for information and dashcam footage.

Police were called to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital after a man in his 20s was found with head injuries on Nettleton Road at around 5.40pm.

He has since been taken to Southmead Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the areas of Nettleton Road and Eastgate Street around this time and are also keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage of the incident.

Anyone who witnessed this incident or was in the area at the time is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 460 of 23 January.
