Plans rev up for Forge Action Day

A major date in the motorsport calendar is drawing closer with the hosting of Forge Action Day at the Castle Combe circuit.

Saturday, September 2nd promises to be a high-octane day out for petrolheads and fans of performance motoring, with tickets now on sale.

Now in its thirteenth year, the show is sponsored by Gloucester-based Forge Motorsport , and promises to be a red-letter date in the motorsport calendar, with a non-stop schedule of displays, racing and stunts to showcase performance cars of all shapes and sizes.

Peter Miles, MD of Forge Motorsport and Forge Engineering, said: "Each year, Forge Action Day gets better and better, and we always look forward to getting together with some of the industry's leading automotive businesses and putting on the best event possible."

This year's plans will include an "eclectic collection of vehicles" on the Forge stand.

Mr Miles added: "Be sure to pop over and have a look, check out merchandise, and chat to our fantastic team."

Just over the border in Wiltshire, the day's programme includes non-stop track action, paddock displays, a show and shine competition, thrilling drift demos and even a special show from professional drifter Steve 'Baggsy' Biagioni.

In the trade village, this year's line-up will include a host of big names in the automotive world, including Scorpion, Wossener Pistons, Milltek, RamAir, Top Gear Tuning, Meguiar's, Pipercross, Baggsy Boy UK, Powerflex, Eibach and Cobra Seats. A range of parts offered will be suitable for all marques and models
