There be a 'Pirate Walk' departing from Café René, Southgate Street at 3pm Saturday, which will see whole crews of pirates taking a rare stroll on dry land as they make their way through the city streets to finish in King's Square. If you'd like to get involved you can dress up as a pirate and join the walk.

Landlubber pirates will be meeting at 2.30pm, although you will want to make sure you're there on time or you may end up walking the plank. There will be face painters, balloon artists, 200 free pirate hand flags for kids and buskers along the route and in King's Square ensuring that this will be an exciting day for all ages.
