Pied Piper Appeal finds smart way to raise funds

Dress Down Friday is a regular event in many offices when working life is more normal.

So why not Dress Up Friday when most of us are working from home?

One Gloucestershire charity is asking us to resist the temptation to slip into something more comfortable for the short commute to the home office and try on something a bit smarter instead.

The Pied Piper Appeal, which supports sick and disabled children and their families across the county, is asking us to dig our best gear out of the wardrobe on Friday, May 1.

Targeting a Glamorous Gloucestershire, they are calling on people to dress to the nines and take some selfies while working from home or grab screenshots of a stylish virtual meeting.

Or key workers such as nurses can add a tiara while you could even get dressed up for a Friday night in on a Zoom or Houseparty get together.

And to make it extra special, share your pictures on social media with the hashtags #WFH #workingfromhome #dressupfriday #glamorousgloucestershire

Donations can be made to justgiving.com/piedpipertrust
