Outlet shopping centre extends festive market as ice rink returns

Gloucester Quays is extending its Victorian Market at the outlet shopping centre this year.

The market will launch on November 16 and run for an extended 11 days until Sunday November 26.

The 15 by 30 metre open air ice rink also opens on November 16 after it was visited by 30,000 people last year. The Enchanted Christmas Market launches at Gloucester Quays on November 27 and runs until Christmas Eve.

The outlet centre will extend opening hours until 9pm from November 16 to December 29 on week days, except for Bank Holidays

Matt Bird, centre manager at Gloucester Quays, said: "We're thrilled to announce 'Christmas Time at Gloucester Quays' with the longest Victorian Christmas Market we've ever run and our fantastic ice rink returning.

"There'll be so much for all the family to enjoy with the jolly Victorian characters bringing the market to life.

"The event will also be brimming with traditional chalets and stalls selling high quality seasonal food, drink, art, jewellery, accessories and festive gifts that you won't find on the high street."
