The popular Orchard Street Market is due to return Gloucester Quays on August 1-2 for the first time since lockdown began.
The market will showcase artisan goods from across the region, with some of very best Gloucestershire independents selected to sell their wares.
Many traders are eager to make their return to the Quays, while others are new to the roster.
The market will host some of the region's favourite vendors, such as the multi award-winning Beefy Boys, with their American-style burgers; gin and vodka favourites, Brennen & Brown; and handmade glassware makers S J Glass to name just a few. Cheeses, cakes, brownies, scotch eggs, preserves and more will all be available, alongside shopping and street food.
Sance will also be making its first appearance at the Orchard Street Market, a lockdown success story, having been formed and built during this period, the company will be bringing its beautifully crafted jewellery to the Docks.
Increased demand from stall holders means the Orchard Street Market will return with more traders than ever, with more than 40 market stalls spread across Orchard Square at Gloucester Quays. The market is free and accessible to all.
To keep visitors safe, new Covid-safe measures have been brought in to meet government guidelines and minimise any risk. These changes include a new layout to give each trader more space, a one-way system around the market to ensure minimal contact with other groups, social distancing markers throughout and availability of hand sanitiser. Each trader will also have their own system in place to ensure that customers are safe when visiting their stalls.
