Online sales boost sports brand

Sportswear brand Asics has seen strong sales over the past year, despite lockdown stores closures.
The brand, which has a store in Gloucester Quays, saw a 35 per cent year-on-year rise in sales for the year ending March 2021, as reported by Retail Gazette.
Online sales were up an incredible 110.7 per cent on the previous year.
Operating income is significantly up to £37.7m (€42.7m) for the first quarter of 2021.
The company said it is continuing to optimise its digital channels to help more people to find the right sports gear online.
