'One Cathedral View' at The Forum hits the market

The first commercial property advert has been published for The Forum development in Gloucester.

Chartered Surveyors Bruton Knowles are marketing 'One Cathedral View' alongside JLL, which comprises of 85,121 sq ft of grade A office space split across seven floors.

Advertised for an undisclosed sum, the building is part of the city's wider £85m digital and technology campus being developed by Gloucester City Council with partners Reef Group.

With three distinctive wings, large windows overlooking Gloucester Cathedral and several rooftop terraces, Bruton Knowles said the offices provide "modern flexible space, designed to help you navigate hybrid working".

Boasting BREEAM 'Excellent' eco credentials, the development will be net-zero-carbon with renewable electric supply throughout, low energy demand due to passive design principles and provide annual carbon offsetting.

The building is also said to provide 50 per cent operation cost savings, thanks to natural ventilation, rooftop solar panels, low water usage fittings and a low-cost fit out.

Potential tenants of One Cathedral View will have access to a gym, café and members club as well as 398 new car and bike parking spaces. They will also be able to utilise co-working spaces at The Forge next door.

It is hoped staff will benefit from the building's smart workplaces and connected environment, which will ensure they work faster and collaborate effectively.

Available from quarter three 2023, Bruton Knowles said each wing can be occupied individually, or in clusters.

Dorian Wragg, partner and head of commercial at national chartered surveyor firm at Bruton Knowles commented: "We are delighted to bring to market One Cathedral View at The Forum. This cutting edge, digital integrated office space is completely unique - there isn't anything similar outside of London or Bristol.

"In keeping with the focus of going green across the county, this space also offers net-zero carbon credentials - a key selling point. The quality of the scheme is unrivalled and we are expecting high interest and demand."
