Officers appealing for witnesses after £1,500 worth of stock stolen in Newent

Officers are appealing for witnesses of a commercial burglary that took place at a storage unit in Newent last week.

On Thursday July 8th police were called to a report of a break in at a storage unit in The Shambles Newent that took place during the previous night.

Sometime between 7pm on Wednesday (7 July) and 8.30m on Thursday (8 July) unknown offenders forced entry to the unit through a door and stole roughly £1500 worth of stock.

Officers have conducted CCTV enquiries and are now appealing for any witnesses that may have seen anything suspicious in the area around the time.
