Nick Broady appointed Gloucester Rugby Charitable Foundation chair

Gloucester Rugby have announced that Nick Broady has been appointed as the chair of Gloucester Rugby Charitable Foundation.

Nick is a native of Gloucester, having been born in Matson and brought up in Tredworth, and has long held an association with the club.

A box holder at Kingsholm for over 30 years, his passion for Gloucester Rugby made him the perfect candidate for his new role as chair of the Gloucester Rugby Charitable Foundation.

Nick, who is MD of Avenue Cars of Gloucester, is currently the chair of the Pied Piper Appeal and has previously chaired other organisations, including the Mark Cornwell Testimonial in 2005.

Speaking on his appointment, Nick said: "I'm delighted to have been asked to become the chair of the Gloucester Rugby Charitable Foundation.

"I'm excited to make a positive difference in the county and build on the fantastic progress that the Gloucester Rugby Charitable Foundation has already made."

Foundation CEO Rob Webber said: "We're delighted to have someone of Nick's expertise in the role of chair and I'm looking forward to seeing his positive influence on the Foundation."
