NFU Mutual revealed as best car insurance company

NFU Mutual has been named as the best car insurance provider for the fifth consecutive year in the 2022 Honest John Satisfaction Index.

The Satisfaction Index is a measure of the quality of experience of real car insurance customers around the UK, taking into account factors such as value and customer service.

Dan Powell, senior editor at HonestJohn.co.uk, said: "NFU Mutual has been crowned the best car insurance provider in the UK for the fifth year running. It is an incredible result for a company that clearly puts the needs of its customers first.

"Six thousand drivers took part in the latest Honest John Satisfaction Index, and participants were unanimous with their praise for NFU Mutual with the company taking the number one spot with an average satisfaction score of 9.27 out of 10.

"At HonestJohn.co.uk we are proud of our reputation for providing honest and unbiased advice on all aspects of motoring. That's why each year we ask our readers to share their experiences via the annual Honest John Satisfaction Index."

Rachel Kelsall, incoming customer services director at NFU Mutual, added: "As a mutual insurer, we are operated for the benefit of our members, not to make a profit for shareholders.

"That means we can provide fair value to our customers, paying out on 99% of claims, not charging any extra fees, and always working to protect our members when they need us most.

"With our network of agents across the country taking the time to get to know their customers, we are able to provide a local, personal service which helps members get the cover they need, when they need it.

"We are delighted that this has once again been recognised by the British public in the Honest John Satisfaction Index."
