EXCLUSIVE: New tenant for Gloucester Quays

Shoppers in Gloucester Quays may be used to splashing out on little luxuries, but the new occupier of a prime unit in the middle of the designer outlet is seeking to encourage the ultimate spend – a new house.
Bellway Homes has stepped in to the empty space left by the recent exit of upmarket fashion retailer Reiss, the latter having initially signed up with Peel Retail and Leisure as a one-year popup last October, but eventually exiting after six months.
Reiss is now reported to be planning to join the growing list of names on parade come July at the forthcoming Cotswold Designer Outlet, on the edge of Tewkesbury.

As of tomorrow (Friday April 18), Reiss's vacated unit, opposite North Face and adjacent to Sketchers, will become the marketing space for Bellway Homes in its bid to promote interest in two developments now under way for Gloucester.
Potential homeowners will be able to find out more about Blackthorn Walk, a project for 107 energy-efficient homes in Hunts Grove, while sales and information will also be accessible for Hawthorn Park, a 185-home development in Hempsted which was approved last year by Gloucester City Council.
Bellway has indicated that in the absence of a sales office on the sites, the unit will be used as the first point of contact for potential interest.

The developer added: "Situated in the popular village of Hempsted, Gloucester, Hawthorn Park is a fantastic development of two, three, and four-bedroom homes. With stunning countryside views and fantastic transport links to central Gloucester, this development is sure to appeal to a variety of buyers including first-time buyers, families, and investors."

They added: "Blackthorn Walk joins a thriving established community of homes in Hunts Grove, enjoying an array of local amenities, plus superb road and transport connections. Settled not far from the western boundary of the Cotswolds, this development will offer a range of beautiful two, three, and four-bedroom homes, appealing to a range of potential homebuyers, including first-time buyers, families, professionals, and those looking to relocate to Gloucestershire."
A spokesperson for the sales team told Punchline-Gloucester.com that the promotional space will open its doors officially at 11.00am and both casual interest and buyers seeking to secure off-plan agreement being equally welcome.
