New technical director at housebuilder

An experienced technical director has joined Cheltenham-based housebuilder, Bovis Homes.

Nigel Lush, the new regional technical director

Nigel Lush, the new regional technical director, has more than 20 years' experience in the housing industry.

Nigel said: "I'm leading a technical team at Bovis Homes that is part of a very warm environment and enjoys close teamwork.

"Bovis Homes has a family ethos and looks after its employees, which pays dividends as colleagues want to go the extra mile and work their hardest for the company.

"I lead the team on the delivery of planning consent and design to support the business to meet its forecast and budgetary aims.

"Heading up the technical and planning departments has its challenges for any housebuilder, in terms of building homes the country needs, constructing affordable housing, helping people get onto the property ladder and looking after wildlife and the environment, which are all primary objectives.

Supriya Ray, regional marketing manager at Bovis Homes, said: "Nigel is an impressive new leader within our Western region who is building on an already successful team to ensure we are performing the best we can on planning and design.

"We're lucky to have his skills and experience and he has great knowledge of our Western region locations."
