New team gets behind Forest Green Rovers

Forest Green Rovers has announced a brand-new partnership with insurance technology company, Fuelled.

The Malvern-based insurance provider Fuelled works with UK companies and aims to provide fair, accurate and dynamic insurance policies to help businesses navigate periods of growth and change.

For every insurance policy they sell, the business insurance broker plants a tree with the aim to plant 10,000 trees in the 2021 calendar year - and currently well on the way to achieving that goal.

Steven Darrah, founder and CEO at Fuelled said: "We have a responsibility to partner with other sustainable businesses around the world to help promote an important message. Working with FGR was top of our list, so we're absolutely delighted to see it happen.

"FGR have driven change in global football by daring to go against the grain, which aligns with our personal mission in the insurance industry. The club is local to us and we're really looking forward to supporting the club and the community on and off the pitch.

"Their message, ambition and future plans are inspiring, which is why we've formed a long-term partnership between our organisations."

Henry Staelens, CEO of Forest Green Rovers, said: "Insurance is usually a pretty drab industry - but these guys make it interesting, and it's good to see them implement an initiative that can only benefit the environment."
