New 'see-touch-buy' range launched at Gillman's

The latest 'see-touch-buy' range is now on display at Gillman's.

The Gloucester-based, family-run appliance specialists are showcasing the latest products from German company Siemens.

Their Siemens Centre allows customers to see and touch a range of working appliances before making the decision about what to buy.

Robert Gillman, group CEO of Gillman's, said the interactive displays have proven to be a big hit with customers.

"I like the see-touch-buy model. People can come in and see the appliance working. They are wired, plumbed and working, customers can see them doing what they do," he said.

"Our Siemens centre has been totally revamped, we have completely replaced every built-in appliance from fridges to tumble dryers, the whole lot," he said.

"Siemens is a premium German brand that has a quality attached to it. All of their products come with a two-year guarantee for parts and labour, some have a five-year guarantee."

Specially-trained staff will be on hand at their St Oswalds Road store to advise customers about what to buy from a wide range of products.

They have been armed with specialist information about the new Siemens products as well as a host of other brands that have similar 'see-touch-buy' showrooms.

"Gillman's are always training our staff on our partnered brands. We have a Miele area, Bosch, Neff, LG, Range group - all of them see-touch-buy.

"It's a major investment to us in quality products. When customers are buying these premium products they learn about the brand and what each appliance offers."
