New screens for Cineworld Cheltenham

A revamp of screens and expansion into the neighbouring unit will pave the way for an exciting new chapter for Cineworld in Cheltenham.

Work begins today (21st January) on installing new screens to enhance viewers' cinematic experience.

As part of the luxury upgrade, all four screens in The Screening Rooms will temporarily close whilst Cineworld's 11 screens including IMAX will remain open. Work is expected to be complete by autumn.

Demelsa Coleman, marketing manager for The Brewery Quarter, said: "We're delighted Cineworld is investing in this upgrade for visitors. We're looking forward to revealing the fantastic refurbished new look later this year."

A spokesman for Cineworld said: "We aim to offer customers a great cinema experience and upgrading these screens will do just that. Cineworld is proud to offer some of the best innovation in cinema technology to date and we're happy that we will soon be able to offer greater choice to our Cineworld Cheltenham customers."

Full details of the new look will be revealed later in the year.
