New partner for Tayntons Solicitors

One of Gloucester's longest-standing law firms has announced the promotion of Alex Lyttle to partner.

Experts in both personal and business law, Tayntons said the appointment showed its commitment to improving business performance in line with its business and department plans.

With more than 15 years of experience in law, Alex Lyttle has a wealth of knowledge and specialises in commercial litigation and employment.

He said: "I am delighted to be appointed partner at Tayntons. Since I started working for them nearly four years ago, I have been struck at how young and dynamic the firm is. It is a pleasure to work there.

"It is also telling that prior to the pandemic we already had systems in place to allow for a swift change to working from home allowing us not only to keep all our staff safe but adopt modern working practices allowing us to continue to provide great service to our clients".

Tayntons said the development of its people remained key to the firm continuing to improve, develop and grow.

Senior partner Chris Price said: "Alex has shown us a wealth of experience dealing with all kinds of contract disputes including, breach of warranty claims and general commercial contract disputes. With a pro-active approach Alex works collaboratively with his clients and understands the important of building long lasting relationships with clients and contacts.

"He is a member of the management team contributing and supporting initiatives and his ability to bring in new work to the firm has been an inspiration to us. His track record of cross referrals is a credit to him especially in a difficult marketplace due the result of a pandemic."
